From rescue to family, changing lives one tail at a time!

We went to the Dogs Trust because we had fallen for a lovely chap called Hugh, but actually went home with Pele - to be later known as 'Dug'.

And Dug, is how our little business came to be, I'm Sarah and 'Wag Your Tail' is my dream, a little pet store on line that is all about dogs, no offence intended to any of our other furry friends but for me, dogs are what I am passionate about, I love them, if your dog meets me and covers me in mud or hair, never apologise, I'm at my happiest covered in slobber, dog hair and muddy paws, yes, I have the jumper that reads 'Dogs make me smile'.

So, this is my first blog, a little introduction really, to say hi and thanks for reading, it would be great if you'd keep following us, that's me and Dug, you'll get to hear about our journey with a rescue dog, the challenges, the anxiety, the 'have I done the right thing' but most importantly, the rewards, you'll hear how Dug has grown in confidence and is like a completely different dog now (well, almost, we're getting there).

At our little store you can treat your fur-baby to some of our handmade oat biscuits made using fresh, seasonal fruit and vege's or if meat and fish are more your dogs style, we've got you covered with our range of natural, ethical and pretty tasty treats and chews from our friends.

But it's not all about us, this blog will be all about dogs, think of it as a community, a little drop in center or even better a series (who needs Netflix, anyway!) we've got the dog treats, you just need a few minutes each week to read our blog.

Join me and Dug as we chat about everything from Dug's latest antics, to the latest news, the best places to visit with your dog, where to get dog ice-cream and the best puppuccino's, I'd like to chat about our dog's health, first aid, suggestions on hot and cold weather and local rescue centers.

I'll bring you the lowdown on our latest products, what's new being baked in our kitchen and Dug will be giving his humble opinion on the latest eco-toys to join our shop.
