This healthy dog treat contains nothing but Carrots, Oats, Peanut Butter, Cinnamon and Coconut Oil, just  100% natural goodness – we love carrot cake and wanted to make a dog friendly alternative.
 
Why are carrots good for dogs?
 
Carrots contain vital vitamins, nutrients and fibre all of which can do wonders for your dog.
Beta-carotene – you know the saying ‘carrots make you see in the dark’ well it’s not strictly true however they do contain vitamins and nutrients which are good for the eyes in humans and in dogs. This is largely due to the beta -carotene in carrots, the pigments that gives carrots its colour, converted into vitamin A - crucial for healthy vision.
 
Potassium – is important in a dogs diet because it affects nerve impulses, heart function, brain and muscle activity.
 
Vitamin B6 – helps to maintain a potassium sodium balance in your dogs body, it may also help them maintain proper bladder health
 
Vitamin K – Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin, this is an important one as it activates your dogs bloods ability to clot
 
Our biscuits are both handmade and slow baked, our hand cut bones are tasty bite sized bones, perfect treat size and they easily be broken in half to suit even smaller breeds.

We can also make big bones which are a great size for a substantial treat for a bigger dog, smaller dogs can eat them too of course as they will also break in half. Please let us know if you prefer big bones!
